William Rehnquist, R.I.P.

It was with real shock that I opened Google News this morning and read that Chief Justice Rehnquist has passed away. Husband was equally shocked.

Gary, the Ex-Donkey, has a nice, succinct post about this loss; I couldn't have said it better myself.
