Something is rotten in the state of OH

I'm not talking about alleged voter fraud, Gov. Taft, or even the job situation. I'm referring to what ever bug I've picked up that has made my day utterly miserable. I spent the better part of the day just trying to get some rest, but as usual kept getting interrupted by little things...the UPS man ringing the doorbell, Son needed some Tylenol for his headache, Daughter pooped. That kind of stuff.

Hopefully what ever this is will be gone soon so I can feel like a productive person again.

Oh shit, I hope you're not going to be sick for Christmas. That would really suck after all the work you did.

Daughter #2, who is usually the healthiest kid alive, has had a cough/congestion for a week. Not enough of a problem to keep her from school last week (not that she would have missed it...she "had" to see her boyfriend!), but a most unusual occurance for her. I have had an overly long duration migraine and head congestion as well. It's this lovely Ohio weather me thinks!

Thanks, junebee, I hope I'm not sick over Christmas either. Today (Weds) I feel a bit better, although I still have a headache and it feels like someone pummeled me all over my torso. Thankfully the younglings seem to be fine, but Husband was sort of miserable last night.

If all this means is I don't get cookies baked I won't be too upset.

Two ounces of scotch, 1 tablespoon of sweet vermouth, warm to 105 degrees, add a stick of cinnamon. Repeat as necessary.

It won't cure the cold but it'll make you not care about it. ;-)
