Ewan McGregor was great in Moulin Rouge. Please tell me why he got involved with Star Wars debacles? $$$?

As for the Star Wars movies, he was the best thing about them, in my opinion.

There's a joke that McGregor has it in his contract that at least his butt appears in his movies. Really.
And he can sing....but he could read the phone book and it would melt my butter...
