That reminds me of a story I once heard. A tour guide at a distillery in Scotland was explaining the complexities of making single malt Scotch whisky, and that it was as complex as making fine wine. At the end of the tour he asked if the tourists had any questions. An American tourist raised his hand and asked if they used a pecial basin in which to spit out the whiskey, like in the French wineries. The tour guide stared incredulously at the tourist, then exclaimed, "Spit it OOT, did ye say?"
