Nada, Zip, Zilch
The doctor called about twenty minutes ago, and the scan came back negative. No tumors, fluid, nothing, just a bad sinus infection, which is what Husband and I suspected all along.
The doc is calling in a scrip for more amoxicillan, and I'm to call back on Thursday to let him know how Son is doing.
To say I'm relieved is an understatement. Once I was done talking to the doc, I sat there and thanked God...then I hurried up and called Husband to give him the news.
I hope this scrip finally knocks this stuff out of Son. This is getting a bit ridiculous!

Posted by: junebee at March 28, 2006 03:08 PMThat's really good news. I once told my mom I couldn't wait until my kids were older and I didn't need to worry so much. Her response was that you never stop worrying. How long did they put him on the amoxil? My husband gets really bad sinus infections, also. The physician told him that to really clear up a sinus infection it had to be at least a six week course. He told him that the short course is the reason he seems to get them one right after the other. Just a thought. The poor little guy is probably miserable. Sinus infections are awful.
