So, didja watch?

What happened on September 17? In 1862 it was the Battle of Antietam.

The History Channel has that "10 Days That Unexpectedly Changed America" thing on this week, and started the series with Antietam.

It was really cool; they juxtaposed actual photos (but used some from Petersburg too) with modern pictures that had been jiggered to look like 1860's photos.

*sigh*

Having been to that battlefield, and it's spring time...I really miss reenacting.
