Kennedy: The Author
Not to be outdone, Senator Ted Kennedy has penned a children's book. Taken from the latest issue of Nick Jr. Magazine:
"This month, the vote goes to Senator Edward M. Kennedy, for penning his debut children's book, My Senator and Me: A Dog's-Eye View of Washington, D.C. (Scholastic Press; ages 5+). This day-in-the-life tale of a hard day's work in Congress is told by Kennedy's real-life canine sidekick, Splash. Whimsically illustrated by Caldecott-winning artist David Small, the book is part historical, part political, and part doggone cute."
Frankly, this book would probably be better used as a pooper scooper. What say you?
