"Celebrities in Uniform"

Here's something we only see in history books: Hollywood celebs who joined the military.

The Military Channel will air a show discussing this, appropriately titles Celebrities in Uniform.

Plan to watch!

(I'm sure they won't be talking about Sean Penn. YAY!!!)

As liberal as American celebrities are, and considering we have no draft, it's probably a very brief show. Not, however, like South Korea where the drafting of certain celebrities is something akin to like Elvis' draft. Of course the Korean celebrities get abbreviated tours of duty, though one did ask to be put on the front lines. You'd never hear that from an American celebrity.

Actually, Junebee, Jimmy Stewart was a bomber pilot in the USAAF in WWII, led 20 missions over enemy territory and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster. So prior to today's bunch, you certainly DID hear if it. Anf if we extend celebrity definitions to cover pro athletes, don't forget Pat Tillman.
