Say You're Sorry!

Damn that John F-ing Kerry.

I happen to know someone, a graduate of one of the military academies no less, who may be heading over to Iraq. He's not stupid.

Interesting thing: last night a local kid was interviewed about his desire to join the Marines after he gradutes from high school. He said he was a bright student, and yes he could go to college and play football, but he chooses to enlist instead. Know what the kicker was?

"I'd be proud to die for my country."

And P.S. - while Husband has not yet gone to Iraq, he has been to the Middle East, and he's pretty damn smart. And the guys he works with are no mental twerps, either.
