Hear the Crickets Chirp

I'm going to be pretty scarce today, and maybe the next couple of days.

See, Husband has, once again, rendered my beloved laptop moot; somehow I lost a critical modem for dial-up, and the network is down, so I have to use his laptop to do anything. Local dial-up and no FireFox.

So, I'm without all my favorite links and what not, but I may get to some of my favorite blogs today, we'll see. Logging on and all is a pain in the rear.

But anyway, how was your weekend? I spent most of it on my couch watching war movies. Ahhhh, The Longest Day, one of the greats AND a laundry list of stars!

And now where else will you hear the line "...from the crotch to the knee" delivered with such theatrical training. I love Richard Burton!

"Ack ack...over Calais."

I'm climbing out of a fan burnt out and fried the computer fiasco. New computer and no old links, saved passwords (I use opera...love it!) I sympathise.

Wishing computer healing vibes...

I watched the Audie Murphy autobiographical movie, To Hell and Back, this weekend. Hadn't seen it in a while, but it gave me a renewed feeling of pride for our fighting men and women.

Caught a little bit of "Halls of Montezuma" on Friday.

Hate it when my computer acts up, which has happened a lot lately...
