Shoot Me Now
I just finished making Paula Deen's chocolate pound cake.
It's one of the most time intensive desserts I've made to date, counting the red velvet cake.
You see, one has to incorporate the dry ingredients and the buttermilk at intervals into the creamed butter/sugar/shortening mixture, starting and ending with the dry (flour) ingredients.
Ugh. And I can't even have any.
All this is for...church tomorrow. They'd better like it, or they're gonna hear some profanity that will blow their hair back.
