Is That All There Is?

Well, apparently all is still right with the world, for the most part, because as of about 8 p.m. last night Husband and I became o-fficial members of the church we've been attending.

I don't know exactly what I was expecting to happen. I mean, were they going to shine a big spotlight on us and interrogate us as to our spirituality?

No, they didn't, but they did ask us about our "walk with Jesus." You know, how we came to be Christians. Well....did they really want to hear my saga? I gave them a thumbnail of it all...and then they asked "What does Jesus mean to you?"

Really.

I was stumped. I mean, how do I put what I feel into words? I managed, and I guess my answer was passable, because the two elders we met with didn't take that long to confer about us.

Husband and I discussed the whole interview on the drive home, and I giggled and said "Maybe I should have given this answer:"

Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright, oh yeah
