Let The Record Show
I would like you all to know, especially you Llama Butchers, that yesterday I actually sat through a Star Trek movie.
Star Trek: First Contact, to be exact.
To be perfectly clear, I sat through this movie, I didn't exactly watch it.
I read a book (which is a post for another time), and I think I looked up twice. Once when I heard "ooby-dooby-doo-waa" and then when I heard Data say he was fully functional....sexually.
And then he got it on with a borg.
Oooookay.
The kids were bored; Son went to his room to read and Daughter fell asleep. Husband was the only one who really paid attention to it.
But it was on...and I was in the room. Does that count?

Perhaps....were you wearing the reenactor costume at the time?
Posted by: Steve the LLamabutcher at March 26, 2007 12:38 PMOn a side note---"getting it on with a borg" is going to do wonders for your google traffic...
Posted by: Steve the LLamabutcher at March 26, 2007 12:40 PMNo, Steve, I wasn't wearing my 19th century clothing at the time. What, do you think I sit around in that stuff everyday for fun?
Tsk...
I haven't had that stuff on in years.
Posted by: GroovyVic at March 26, 2007 03:02 PMYa know, First Contact is probably the best of the Next Generation flicks, but I don't consider it to be the real test.
Try watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. If you'd still rather read a book, then you win.
Posted by: Robbo the Llama Butcher at March 27, 2007 09:32 AMAs a matter of fact, I have seen "Khaaaaaan!"
And I'd rather read a book.
In truth, if I had to pick (under duress) to watch any Star Trek, I'd have to admit that I'd rather watch the original TV shows...
Yes, really!
