Strike - Day 2

Yep, the teachers are still on strike, and who knows when the board will agree to sit down with the teachers again.

In the meantime, I've been trying to keep the kids entertained (without leaving the house, as gas prices are ri-goddamn-diculous) and somewhat educated with stuff I've found online. Just for future reference, Daughter was not thrilled with the Hooked on Phonics ABC's package.

Here's the website for the Education Association; there's info from yesterday, as well as contact info for our Board and Superintendent. Make a call! Tell them to talk to the teachers! Do it for GroovyVic's kids!
