The Real Inconvenient Truth

I've got your inconvenient truth right here!

Well, more like inconvenient and painful to acknowledge truth.

My washer crapped out again yesterday!

This is inconvenient because, well hell! I've got clothes to wash! It's also painful to acknowledge because I never thought I'd be so dependent on an appliance.

Well, one without batteries, that is. (wink, wink)

But to not have my washing machine is like cutting off my right arm. I can't not do laundry! Next to vacuuming, it's the only other household chore I actually don't mind doing.

If you would have come up to me twenty years ago and said "Vic, one day you're going to be mad as hell that your washing machine won't work" I would have laughed hysterically in your face. Now look at me! I'm actually bummed out because I can't wash the sheets!
