I don't like spam nor am I happy about the Iowa caucus results. We just might end up awash in teeth and eyeballs at the next inauguration. Bush has been a colossal disappointment in many ways, and this coming from someone who voted for him both times, and thus the time is supposedly right for a major "change." I find Hillary cold, disingenuous and power-craving but I would still prefer her to Obama and his naive Robin Hood health plan. May the Republicans nominate a very strong, viable candidate this time, so that we don't lose the White House (and possibly the nation). As a Republican, I still haven't decided which candidate I would pull the lever for, as there are aspects of Romney, Giuliani, Thompson (yes, Thompson), Huckabee and McCain that appeal to me. I want the one (whoever it may be) who will win over the Hillary-Obama ticket, because if the latter are the victors, the US is gone forever. Gee it's times like these that I REALLY wish the South had won its independence. Then we would have a genteel, peaceful, gracious society instead of what we've had to deal with these past forty or so years and what seems to be looming ahead. Thanks for allowing me to vent a bit. Hope all is well up there.
