Jack Who?

All this talk about Jack Bauer and "24" makes me think I need to find a way to watch this program.

I'll need to start doing some kind of spritual dance so the stars can align and we can get some half-assed fuzzy reception of a FOX station.

I didn't "get into" '24' until last season, a year ago. Seasons 1-3...and maybe by now 4 are available to buy or rent on DVD. GET THEM.

Be prepared, though, to watch them in massive watching sessions, as, you will reach the end of an episode, or episodeS and feel the need to watch the next one. And the next one. And the next one. It's just a fantastic series. Kinda like the old television series "Mission Impossible" but on sterioids.

I missed seasons 1 and 2. We rented them before the start of season 3 and had a long marathon watching session. Its worth it!

I've been watching seasons one and two on A&E. I should rent the shows a season at a time. (I'll have to see if our library has them...)

"24" is the reason I joined Netflix. I'm totally addicted to this show. And, yes, you could get sucked in to watching episode after episode all in a row. But by getting the discs spaced out by Netflix I watch one or two episodes a night (there are four on each disc).

As much as I can't wait to see each one, I think it's more satisfying to spread each season out over a couple of weeks. The pace makes you savor each one like a bite of an ice cream sundae...

...damn, now I'm hungry!

Oh, and if you decide to start renting/buying them for God's sake do everything you can to stay spoiler free. This show has more plot twists in one episode than most show's have in a whole season.

Plus, no character is safe. Anyone could die. Except Jack Bauer of course. When he dies, it's only fake.
