Appropriate Name
Back from taking Son to the doctor. Son does not have the pox. No! He has, are you ready for this: scarlet fever.
He's on an antibiotic for the next 10 days and can't go back to school until Monday. There's a chance Daughter could get this too, so I have to keep the two of them segregated.
Segregation NOW!
Ha ha...
But, we made it; the roads weren't bad at all. Now I've just got to coax Son into taking a nap.

Ooh, sorry to hear that. So what is the treatment, or do you just have to wait it out?
Posted by: junebee at January 28, 2007 12:26 PMAntibiotics (Augmentin) for 10 days. The rash had cleared up considerably by Friday morning, and he's feeling a lot better.
I got a call Friday night from the mother of the kid Son sits with on the bus...and he's got it too.
