Happy Not Presidents Day
I was wrong, this is not Presidents Day.
I remember when, as a small kid, we would get Washington's birthday and Lincoln's birthday off. I was a very happy elementary school kid.
But now? Well, I'm sorry, but I guess I don't feel compelled to celebrate every president. Even I have my limits.
And, just for the record, Son has the day off. Apparently the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in this hillbilly school district, and after several phone calls to people who would know, the kids don't have school today.
And because Husband is an employee of our armed forces, he has the day off, too.

School was in today, oddly, although banks and post offices were closed. I never can figure it out. The Citizen had off too, although he and the schools were not off for MLK Day. At least the garbage was collected today. That's all I really care about.
