Reaching for the Clippers
I'm thisclose to losing my marbles and shaving my head.
This morning Daughter woke up with a low-grade fever and a sore throat.
Damn damn damn!
I put in a call to the pediatrician at 9:00 a.m. on the dot (when they open) and told the nurse I was concerned because I'd had Son in there last week for strep...and now I'm waiting on a call from the doc.
I suspicion he'll want to swab Daughter's throat to be sure it's strep, but wouldn't it be nice if he'd just call in a 'scrip for antibiotics?
Oh well.

I tried that once and was told that the doctor must see the patient before he can prescribe any medicine.....whatever....we both know that us mommies are often better at knowing what's wrong that the doctor! So do we take bets as to when you are going to come down with the same thing!

I'm really looking forward to summer break.
